SLT is a platform that aims to showcase videos curated by creative individuals worldwide. People can submit their work and promotional imagery to help their videos stand out. The team of SLT believes that sound and images help shape our vision and ideas of fiction, reality, and eventually our perception of each other. Following this belief, they strive to present wholesome works from creators all over the world. The intention is to ultimately cultivate an entertainingly holistic space that will gradually grow to shape and cater to how we experience visual and audio material, on / offline.

The result
Cinema and Theme mode
SLT has its own twist on light and dark mode. When the app is in Cinema mode, the background turns dark to ensure the video is easier to view. Theme mode on the other hand will be used so the submitted video can have a complementary background that matches the theme.
Tv-like experience
SLT aims to always have something for its audience to watch. Same as on television, you can open SLT hit play, and then sit back as you enjoy the shows back to back.
Promoted work
SLT allows content creators to send promotional material with the video that they want to showcase on the platform. These can be things like: Links to buy event tickets, cool merchandise, or even another website.
What did I learn
Collaboration
During this project, I’ve learned to work together with 2 other highly motivated partners. During periodic meeting we would discuss a feature and they would implement it in the designs.
